A few years ago I found a pretty funky vintage lamp at Goodwill without a lampshade for $6. I have never had the right spot for it, but finally decided to use it on my new checkerboard table I showed HERE yesterday. In addition, the vignette includes the chair I re-did a few weeks back. That can be seen HERE.
All it needed was some dusting and a new lampshade. I added some rosettes I made from a drop cloth to the shade.
Have you had the chance to check out my GIVEAWAY this week going until February 13th from RUPiper Designs...

Your vignette looks fabulous. I love the red lamp,it paid off to hold on to your lamp until you found the perfect spot. That chair is awesome!
ReplyDeleteit adds the perfect pop of color!!! what a bargain, too!
ReplyDeleteOh, I <3 your lamp! But I must admit a craving for more rosettes . . . the ones you have on the shade are so pretty and perfectly frayed, I want more more more! lol Like a solidly packed border top & bottom, or a double or triple row along the bottom of the shade. As my favorite aunt always says: "If a little bit's good, a lot's much better!" ;o)
ReplyDeleteMmmmm . . . I just love that lamp!

Hi, new follower here, via My Uncommon Slice of Suburbia. I love what you do! It's totally up my alley. I also had a dream of refinishing furniture, but I have too many other things to pursue. I do refinish the occasional piece.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog! I will also visit your Etsy shop.
Beautiful vignette looks beautiful.
