Vintage wood ironing board turned into a sign

I am so excited about this project. My parents are building a new home. On there property there is the cutest very old garage/shed. Unfortunately they think it has to be torn down, but that is good news for me. I have first dibs on the wood. Anyway, my father was in there the other day cleaning it out. He found the most awesome shoe shine stool in there with the brushes and a shine tin still in there. I will share that on another day though. Today I am sharing this very old AWESOME wood ironing board he found. Most "normal" people would throw it away. But, I definitely inherited my fathers genetics for keeping junk, therefore, he gave it to me. YAY!!! Here it is:

Of course I tackled this project immediately and came up with this:

Ahhhhh!! I just love how it turned out. Can't for for my father to see it. I am listing it in my ETSY shop if anyone is interested.

  2. That is SO super cool!! If I had one of those fancy laundry rooms instead of the nasty corner of my garage to do laundry in, I would buy it in a heartbeat!
