Months ago I purchased a brass chandelier for $5. It was one of those projects that sat and sat and sat. I finally decided to check it off the list! I can't find the before picture, so just envision ugly brass.
First I sprayed the entire piece black.
Next, I painted a few parts with an aqua paint. Once dry, I distressed the entire piece.

ReplyDeleteWould you let me borrow that chandy for a few years? It would look so great in my kitchen. Imagine the cost of trying to buy a custom one like that!? You are such a talented artist!
ReplyDeletep.s. If you let me borrow it, I promise I'll give it back someday. ;)
Love your chandelier Lisa, and the aqua paired with it is perfect!
ReplyDeleteYou just can't do wrong with aqua...I thought it was on it's way out this year, but I finally bought some more because I think it's here to stay! :) The chandelier is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteGreat job Lisa, turned out beautifully!!!
ReplyDeleteThis chandelier most be really vintage because it looks like it uses candles and not light bulbs. It could be put in a museum.
