Remember that really ugly lamp I showed you yesterday that I got at Goodwill the other day? With the very large gross shade? I don't know what it is, but shades from Goodwill or any thrift for that matter really gross me out. Go figure.
A little paint, some distressing, and a bit of lamp shade tearing....and you come up with this:
It would obviously look better with a more dramatic light bulb, but this is all I had for photo purposes.

Less is more :) Love the polka dots and updated look! I bought a lampshade without a shade, in an antique mall. The woman working there asked me what I was going to cover it with. I said, nothing. You should have seen the look on her face. Very funny!
