I think Pottery Barn copied me.....

Don't you just hate it when you think you had an idea first, then the next thing you know you see it somewhere like Pottery Barn.

In December I did a post with a piece of a vintage architectural relic I purchased at a tag sale. You can read that post HERE.

Here is what I thought was original art in my home....

So, last night I was at the mall and popped into Pottery Barn to grab a catalog. I like to flip through these to steal borrow their ideas....

You see, it is ok if I take theirs, but I sort of have a tantrum if they take mine. This is what I came across...

Oh well....I guess if I can take ideas from them, they can take them from me :)

I'm just trying to figure out when they snuck into my house to grab this idea for their catalog....LOL!!!

Take care,
Lisa

  3. That is so funny! I just posted on another blog that I came up with an idea for a heart and she posted the one she made last year. I wasn't even blogging this time last year, I promise I didn't copy. It's that great minds think alike thing! ;) Great idea and I have a finial I need to use!

  7. Who knows if they took the idea from you. At least you can say if they did that it was your idea first.
