I have an obsession with chairs....The detail on some are so intricate and the perfect fabric can change a piece from night to day. They look great in any room of the house....I have even used them in the bathroom holding a galvanized tin filled with hand towels....
A few weeks ago I spotted this lonely soul at Goodwill for $3. The caning on the seat was ripped, but I knew it was an easy fix....
Add some white paint.....
A fabulous fabric.....
And here you have it....
Snow leopard print + shabby white paint color = an eclectic design
Happy Holiday's!!!

So glad you're back! I love your family page and can't wait to see your "our nest" page! So sorry for everything that happened, but excited you got a new blog up and running (: Have a wonderful weekend, my dear friend!
ReplyDeleteMy heart breaks for you, Lisa! To lose your blog is like losing a part of yourself. Thought I had lost mine a few weeks back, but finally I found an older version in blogger and quickly brought it up to date as best I could.
ReplyDeleteI am in love with chairs too, and you did a wonderful update on this one! Keep a smile and have a Merry Christmas! Best, Vicki
I don't have a blog...yet...so I can only imagine the amount of work you had done with yours and how sad/frustrated you must be. I'm signing up to follow. I LOVE remaking inexpensive finds too and you did a good job on your chair!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry for your losses - just devastating!
ReplyDeleteWould love it if you would consider setting up a Facebook page, as that is how I follow most of my blogs now, and it makes it so easy to "Share" and really spread things socially. :)
Hoping you find many new friends and opportunities in the midst of this yucky event!
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
Following you before following again! Sorry for the blog problems that really stinks!
ReplyDeleteHang in there.
Merry Christmas to you!
I am so sorry that you lost your blog and all of the post. Thank You so much for sharing the information and link to help others so that this doesn't happen to them. I am new at blogging and I backed mine up as soon as I finished reading the information.
