You know when you have that large wall space and you have nothing to put there? Well think BIG FRAME! Frames can be used to actually frame a print or for other multiple uses. I use them to frame frames or frame paintings I actually do right on the wall. Back in the spring I got the most awesome and huge frame at the flea market for only $5.
I painted it white and "shabbied" it up a bit....
Some of you may remember what I did with a frame in my daughter Samantha's room. For those of you who haven't seen it, here is a photo of what I did with a frame for her.

I love that huge frame! And I love that you got it for $5! Nice work on painting it too.

gorgeous!!! love huge frames like that! they are so wonderful for so many different things!
ReplyDeleteDUDE!!! If that frame is 24x36, I'm super jealous! I have been searching high in low for that exact frame in those dimensions!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute way to display it! Love shabby frames.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool frame - for $5!!! Are you keeping this one? I bought 3 (not that big) at a yard sale a while back for $2 or $3. I've painted 2 and hung them on the wall, but I can't figure out what to do with the 3rd. I want to hang it in my room, but I guess it would help if I decided on a color for our room!
ReplyDeleteI always find frames used and I want to put a glass minor into them but it's just to expensive. Your much better of doing what you did by adding some type of art into the frame.
