Sorry I have missed posting for a day or so and even commenting on other blogs. Anyway, I am back today with a new project. I found a desk at Goodwill and obviously decided a makeover was necessary.
Of course I started to prime before taking the before photo, but at least you can get the idea.
To maintain the french country appeal this piece already had going on, I chose to use white and buttercream paint. In addition, I painted the knobs and pulls white and distressed them.

You never cease to amaze me. How you find these things I wouldn't look twice at, and then make them beautiful. I love the white/cream combo.

ReplyDeleteI am amazed at how beautiful the handles are on this desk. Putting the white butter cream paint on it only increased the beauty of the handles by making them stand out more.
