The other day I found a listing on craigslist for the ugliest table and chairs from the 60's or 70's. I felt so bad for the pieces that I wanted to give them a new life.....
I used a very shabby pale blue/gray color then distressed everything. The seats were in dire need of new fabric. I used scrap pieces from a drop cloth to accomplish this. Although I knew the transformation would be huge, it exceeded even my own expectations.....
Stunning transformation!

What a fantastic transformation! It really is a nice set, just needed some love and attention. Love the chairs! Way to go! Hugs, Leena
ReplyDeleteSuch a big makeover! You did a great job. I also just revamped a dinette set in Old White.
ReplyDeletePS Hopped on over from Miss Mustard Seed
Have a lovely weekend!
LOVE LOVE LOVE! Is that a linen fabric on the seats?
ReplyDeleteI like your sensitivity to ugly furniture. If furniture were living they would be very grateful for the face lifts they get from you.
