OK, so remember the really cool vintage trunk I shared with you in it's original state?? You can read about HERE.
I think most of us agreed that it was meant to be keeping it "as is".....Well, unfortunately "as is" isn't selling that way, nor is it making me money to put gas in the car...So.....I repainted it. Hated to do it, but sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do!
It looks great! Sometimes it just doesn't work out to keep them as they were. I hope it sells quickly.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.

oh cool, I saw "Champaign, IL" on it before you painted it :-) (I'm from IL and not far from Champaign)
ReplyDeleteIt makes a great looking table, I like it better than when it was unpainted. You're right Lisa, sometimes ya gotta do what you gotta do even if somebody tells you you're wrong. It's gonna be snapped up in a minute!
ReplyDeleteI thougt it looked super cool as is, but now it is an actual pretty piece of functional furniture so it was definitely the right choice :)
ReplyDeleteI loved it the way it was, but I understand why you painted it. It frustrates me when something I love doesn't sell--I wonder why people don't appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteIt was cool before, but I like it a lot now too.
ReplyDelete*I love the candle holders too!
I understand why you painted it. I still wish though you could of kept it the way it was. Sometimes things are best kept in their original form.
