I've been very busy today working on the makeover of Sami's bedroom. Yesterday I revealed my PLAN along with her new desk.
Today I am going to show you the makeover of her original lamp. Months ago I had purchased a brand new wood lamp from Goodwill for $3. I sprayed it aqua and gave the lamp shade some ruffles.
Today I painted it butter cream to match her new decor. In addition I tore the fabric off the shade to give it some Anthropologie appeal. I took a couple of old Anthropologie knobs that I got years ago for $3 to decorate the shade.
I pulled the glass flowers off and used my glue gun to attach them to the shade.
Tomorrow I'll be sharing her armoire that I also painted today....

Taking the fabric off the shade was probably a good call. Sometimes not having fabric can be a good thing. It makes it look more robust and less delicate.
