Shabby chic distressed frame...VEEERY Large!!

You know when you have that large wall space and you have nothing to put there? Well think BIG FRAME! Frames can be used to actually frame a print or for other multiple uses. I use them to frame frames or frame paintings I actually do right on the wall. Back in the spring I got the most awesome and huge frame at the flea market for only $5.

I painted it white and "shabbied" it up a bit....

Some of you may remember what I did with a frame in my daughter Samantha's room. For those of you who haven't seen it, here is a photo of what I did with a frame for her.

  3. DUDE!!! If that frame is 24x36, I'm super jealous! I have been searching high in low for that exact frame in those dimensions!!!

  5. What a cool frame - for $5!!! Are you keeping this one? I bought 3 (not that big) at a yard sale a while back for $2 or $3. I've painted 2 and hung them on the wall, but I can't figure out what to do with the 3rd. I want to hang it in my room, but I guess it would help if I decided on a color for our room!

  6. I always find frames used and I want to put a glass minor into them but it's just to expensive. Your much better of doing what you did by adding some type of art into the frame.
