Chair with Anthropologie appeal

I found this lovely ugly chair at Goodwill the other day....I knew it had much potential.

Some cranberry OOPS paint, a bit of distressing, and some vintage fabric I purchased for 25 cents from a tag sale.

I also picked up a boring side table....

I used my favorite blue paint that I am addicted to at the moment and came up with this.....

  2. I wish our goodwills had furniture! None of the 4 of them around me do, I wonder why some do and some don't. I love what you did with the chair (and the table too). Isn't it amazing what some paint and new fabric will do?

  7. I am in love with both the paint job and the cushion you picked for that chair. You took something ugly and made it really pretty. I sometimes wonder how you do it? you have a gift.
