Pistachio green eclectic chic coffee table

I purchased a great coffee table at the thrift the other day. It had nice clean lines. The problem with it was the stain, the sheen, and the very cheap knob.

To solve this problem, I painted it with Bin primer first. I gave it two coats of a pistachio green color from Benjamin Moore(picture is a little lighter than it really is). I used one of my OOPS paints of course! I distressed the piece then gave it a coat of a flat polyurethane to avoid a glossy look. I changed the knob to a gorgeous vintage piece.

My GIVEAWAY from Ingrid's Creations ends tomorrow night.

  14. Lisa, that color is beautiful! I'll have to go check out my Home Depot's oops pile... The last time I looked, they only had orange and I am not a fan of orange. :)

I have a similar table that would look great in this color. Thanks for sharing.
